Nursing Activities of Staff Nurse in Health Center

Abstract
|
|
|
One week´s (44 hours) nursing activities of ten staff nurses who wrought at the general clinic of city and gun health center in kyungpook, Korea was analysed into area of activities, level of skill and type of service. This investigation was performed during two months from July 1 to August 30 in 1977, learning the results as following.
From the field of activity, the percentage of time spent on patient centered activities was the highest as 36.6%, while personal centered activities was the lowest as 8.8%.
From the object of investigation, nurse D was the highest as 56.l%, while nurse B was quite contrary as 13.5%.
From the level of skill in job activities, the professional nursing activity was the highest as 58.6%, and especially in nursing activities nurse D was the highest as 54.l%, while nurse A was he lowest as 22.3%.
In nursing activity shown as type of service direct service was a little bit higher as 56.l% than indirect service. In the percentage of time spent on inclinic activities in direct service nurses D, and G were showing comparatively higher percent as 68.4% and 62.2% respectively, than nurse J who was lowest as 19.9%.
